Kodagu or Coorg is called as the Scotland of India is a marvellous hill station located in the southern part of Karnataka. The misty hills, lush green valleys, evergreen forests, breathtaking waterfalls will definitely lure one’s eyes. Being a hill station, Coorg is rich in flora. There is so much to see and admire here. For long this place has been known as the ultimate coffee, pepper and cardamom destination. There are many places to visit in Coorg.
Irpu falls ia a narrow water falls is extremely beautiful to see. The Abbi or Abbey falls is one of the most scenic waterfalls in this part of the world. This cascade is located amongst lush coffee plantations. Mallalli Falls Located at the base of Pushpagiri Hill Ranges, Mallalli Falls are an exuberant place. This is the location where the Kumaradhara River takes a steep plunge.
Nagarhole National Park is also a place to see wild elephants. Apart from tigers and elephants, this national park is home to wild dogs, gaur and deer. Pushpagiri wildlife sanctuary is located in the Northern part of Coorg district. Situated near Mandalpatty. Somer other are Nisargadhama Forest, Brahmagiri wildlife sanctuary.etc..
Kodagu has a few temples that are worth visiting. The Bagamandala Temple at the confluence of the Cauvery-Sujyothi Rivers. The temples of Talacauvery are located in Bhagamandala. The Omkareshwara Temple - dedicated to Shiva. The Golden Temple is located at Bylekuppe. Padi Igguthappa is a famous temple in Kakkabe that was built in 1810 by Linga Rajendra.
Dubare Elephant Camp is a popular tourist attraction in Coorg. The highlight of this camp is that plenty of elephants are bred here. Dubare is also a bird lover’s paradise. You can see exotic birds in this region. Even the sight of some common birds can delight you.
Raja's Seat is a seasonal garden of flowers and artificial fountains, which is one of the major tourist attractions in Coorg District. Madikeri Fort was built in the last quarter of the 17th century by Muddu Raja. Originally made of mud, this fort was rebuilt in granite by Tippu Sultan, Cauvery Nisargadhama is an island created by a cluster of islets formed by Cauvery River.

"70 odd acres of coffee plantation, a fresh water stream flows right through the property, landscaped lawns and flowering plants surrounds the home stay, Camp fire is good and necessary. Good place for a relaxing weekend.. food is decent!, akki roti, idly are good, pandi curry is average, chicken curry is not impressive, this happened all three times...

I suggest they market places like Dubare passionatly and arrange for Mysore sightseeing and hotel bookings. Please market Coorg passionatly. It' a lovely place and this is a Very good resort to stay."

"Beautiful natural scenic beauty amidst coffee plantations. Cottages are ok and needs better house keeping. Hosts are good people give you a very warm welcome. Food is awesome. Evening's are spent with good music,camp fire.

"The location is excellent. covered by hills on its sides, it is a 60acre estate.The place is huge and all cottages are spread across the place. The rooms are huge and more than enough for 2 adults and 2 kids to stay as it has one king size and 1 queen size cot in each room. Room was clean and basic."
